PTSO
Supporting Our Students. Supporting Our Teachers. Strengthening Our School Community.
The CHSI PTO is a group of parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and supporters working together to make a positive difference for our students and our school community.
Our goal is simple: to support, celebrate, and strengthen the community that makes our school exceptional.
Because we are a small school community, every volunteer, donation, membership, and idea makes a meaningful impact. The PTO provides opportunities for families to come together, supports our teachers and staff, creates memorable experiences for students, and helps fund programs and activities that benefit our school.

Do I have to attend every PTO meeting?
No! We understand that families have busy schedules. PTO membership does not require you to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event. We welcome families to participate in whatever way works best for them.
Do I have to volunteer?
No! Volunteers are always appreciated, but there are many ways to support the PTO. You can become a member, participate in fundraisers, attend events, make a donation, connect us with a local business, or simply share an idea.
Every contribution makes a difference.
What does the PTO do with the money we raise?
PTO fundraising allows us to provide additional support to our students, teachers, and staff.
Funds may support:
- Teacher and staff appreciation
- Student events and activities
- Senior activities
- Intramural programs and jerseys
- Student clubs and organizations
- Student scholarships
- School spirit and community-building activities
- Other needs and opportunities identified throughout the school year
We are committed to being transparent about our fundraising goals and communicating how funds raised are being used to benefit our school.
Why should I join the PTO?
Joining the PTO is one way to become more connected to your child's school and help make a direct impact. You don't need to have a lot of time or money to make a difference. A few hours of volunteering, participating in an event, sharing an idea, or supporting a fundraiser can help us provide more opportunities and resources for our students.
The more families who participate, the more we can do together.
How much time do I need to volunteer?
As much, or as little, as you are able to give. Some opportunities may require only an hour or two, while others may involve helping plan an event. We will share volunteer opportunities throughout the year so families can choose what works for their schedules.
Can I join if I am not able to volunteer?
Absolutely! Membership and volunteering are two different ways to support the PTO. We welcome parents, guardians, grandparents, family members, and other members of our school community who want to support our students.
Can grandparents or other family members support the PTO?
Yes! We welcome support from anyone who wants to invest in our school community.
How can my business support the PTO?
We are actively building relationships with local businesses and community organizations that want to support our students. Businesses can support the PTO through sponsorships, donations, and event partnerships. If you own a business, or know someone who may be interested in becoming a community partner, we would love an introduction.
Where will I see information about PTO events?
PTO events, meetings, fundraisers, and volunteer opportunities will be communicated through school communications with Parent Square. Be sure to stay connected so you don't miss an opportunity to participate!
I have an idea for the PTO. Who should I contact?
We want to hear from you! The PTO is stronger when families share their ideas, connections, talents, and experiences.
Please reach out to a PTO Board member or contact us at: chsipto22@gmail.com
A Small School. A Strong Community. A Big Impact.

We are fortunate to be part of a small school community where families can make a very personal and meaningful impact.
The PTO isn't just about fundraising!
It's about people coming together to support our students, recognize our teachers and staff, build school spirit, and make our school an even better place to learn and grow.
We hope you'll join us this year, whether that means becoming a PTO member, volunteering at an event, attending a meeting, supporting a fundraiser, connecting us with a community sponsor, or simply sharing an idea.
