Principal's Message

Major Madness
It’s been a busy and exciting week at CHSI! Our 10th grade students celebrated their pathway selections during a March Madness themed “Major Madness” event, organized by Mrs. Louallen. It was a great way to recognize this important milestone. Be sure to check out photos from the celebration below!

As we look ahead, final exams and End-of-Course (EOC) testing are quickly approaching. Teacher-made exams will take place during the week of May 4, followed by state and AP testing beginning the week of May 11. All students are required to complete their exams, which count for 25% of the final course grade. Please help your student plan ahead and finish the year strong!

9th Grade Parents-Stay Tuned for Drug Screening Information

CCHS Drug Screening Requirement

As you know, prior to 10th grade, Cabarrus College requires all students to complete a drug screening. CHSI will pay for the cost associated with that screening if you get the test through Wolf Data April-May. Students will be bringing home a letter that they must take with them to the screening in order to get it for free. Be on the lookout for this letter this coming week.
