Principal's Message
short
Greetings Families,

We have a packed week here at CHSI before Spring Break begins! CHSI is closed Friday, March 7th. I have arranged transportation to still run busses for students that may have a college class on Friday. Cabarrus College is open on March 7th. We both are closed for Spring Break beginning Monday, March 10th for the week. CHSI staff will not necessarily be working on March 7th and school lunch will not be served. Please talk with your student about his or her college class schedule for March 7th and what arrangements, if any need to be made ahead of time.

Additionally, please read below about our PTO Spring Fundraiser, Invest in your Child! This is a great way to raise money for your kids!

I wish all of you a restful and relaxing Spring Break!

Panorama Survey
We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate and support the children in our district. Cabarrus County Schools’ Destination 2025 strategically outlines the district’s goals and objectives to attend to all the social, emotional, and wellness needs of all students. Over the next several weeks, we will be asking all 4th through 12th grade students to reflect on their own mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey they will be completing at school.

The Student Wellness Survey should take 15-20 minutes to complete. You may view all survey material posted on the CCS website. All students are encouraged to participate in the survey, as their responses along with teacher feedback, will provide important insights into their experiences and help our schools promote the well-being and success of all students.

If you have any questions about the student wellness survey, please don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Short

The Spring Student Wellness Survey is set to launch March 24th through April 8th.

Here are copies of the student questions:
