Program Orientations
Occupational Therapy Assistant Orientation (12th Grade Only) — August 13 9am-12pm
Life Sciences & Biomedical Sciences Orientation (11th & 12th Grade) — August 21 6-7pm
This in-person orientation is mandatory for all 11th and 12th grade LS and BMS students. Please note that only students should attend. Students will hear from Dr. Tracy James and science faculty; Mrs. Louallen will be present as well.
9th Grade Reminders & Resources
Parents/guardians of rising 9th graders should complete the Account Creation Form with their student by
Friday, August 29. This ensures students receive their college email, Canvas access, and other essential platforms for coursework and communication.

10th Grade Reminders & Resources
Students should download the Microsoft Authentication App before the Technology Session on 8/15. Mrs. Louallen will walk students through how to access their college email accounts and set up their authentication.
11th Grade
11th Graders taking MAT171 (all 11th grade students except those in the Medical Assisting program), please make sure they have a TI-84 calculator by the first week of college classes. Please note that the TI-Inspire and TI-89 calculators are not allowed on exams.
Immunization Reminder: If your student has already turned 16 and has not submitted documentation for their second dose of the meningococcal vaccine, please have them log into their Exxat account and upload proof of vaccination by Friday, August 22, 2025. Students will not be permitted to begin college classes on August 25 until this documentation is submitted and approved.
11th and 12 Mandatory Grade Level Meeting — August 22nd from 11am-12pm. Students will need to bring their CCS laptops to complete some online tasks during this meeting.
