Senior To-Do's

ORDER YOUR CAP AND GOWN

  1. Visit the Jostens Website: CHSI Josten's Store Link

  2. Select the "Graduation" Icon

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the green "Shop All Graduation Products" button

  4. Select "Cap, Gown, and Tassel Unit" and enter your Height, Weight, and Gender if you don’t want to order a package.

**You will be offered to purchase additional items, but the ONLY required purchase is a cap, gown, and tassel unit.**

Senior Portraits

All seniors will sit for tux and drape photos on either October 21 or October 22 here at CHSI. These will be available for purchase and they will be used for the yearbook.

If your family would like to book an additional senior photo session at Upstate Photography, they have those packages available also.

Select the Carolina Region when booking your appointment and select your school.

Sitting Options and Fees: (Sitting fees are prepaid online when the session is booked.)

Platinum: $55 sitting fee includes 25-30 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, three casual outfits, multiple backgrounds)

Gold: $40 sitting fee includes up to 20 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, two casualoutfits, multiple backgrounds)

Silver: $25 sitting fee includes up to 15 images (traditional yearbook attire, cap and gown, one casual

outfit, multiple backgrounds)

Celebrate Your Senior

Do you want to celebrate your senior in the form of a senior yearbook ad? This is a great way to recognize and commemorate milestones and achievements!  Choose your ad size, layout, add your own photos, and enter your own text. Due by 1/12, but purchase now to save $$$!

DRESS CODE INFORMATION

Every Senior Must Wear A Jostens Cap And Gown With A 2026 Tassel

Caps Are Not Allowed To Be Decorated For The Ceremony

DRESSES AND SKIRTS

Dress: School Appropriate Dress

  • Color and pattern must not be obscene, fluorescent, or be able to be seen through the gown

  • Prom/party dresses and evening wear are not appropriate for graduation

  • The skirt/dress must be school appropriate, not longer than your gown, not show at the top of your gown, and be no more than 3 inches above the knee

  • School appropriate sleeveless dresses must have straps at least 2 inches across the shoulder

  • No Strapless gowns

  • Skirt/Blouse:  Business Casual—a colored skirt that follows the same criteria above and solid white dress shirt

Shoes:  Dark colored or neutral shoes.  Sandals with a heel strap are permitted.

  • Flip Flops are NOT appropriate for graduation

  • High heels are permissible, but please remember that you will be doing a lot of walking and climbing up and down stairs

 

PANTS AND SHIRT

Shirt:  Plain white button-up shirt with a collar

  • Polo shirts are NOT appropriate

Pants:  Solid dark or khaki dress slacks

  • Cargo Pockets, Jeans, Shorts, and Other Non-Dress Pants are NOT Appropriate

  • Jumpsuits and pantsuits that are longer than the gown must be solid; they cannot have pinstripes or designs lower than the gown hem

Shoes:  Solid black, navy, brown, or tan dress shoes

  • Sneakers, flip flops, sandals, boots, and other non-dress shoes are NOT appropriate for graduation

  • Boat shoes are permissible if leather and un-scuffed

Socks: Designs are acceptable if worn under pants and must not be obscene

Tie: All ties, including bowties, must comply with the same appropriateness as the dress code

  • Color and pattern must not be obscene, fluorescent, or be able to be seen through the gown
