It is an honor to serve as the principal of Cabarrus Health Sciences Institute (CHSI). Cabarrus County Schools, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, and Atrium Health seeks to create a pipeline of highly qualified healthcare professionals who mirror the diverse population of Cabarrus County. Our goal is to create an accelerated high school program that is designed to provide consistent support for student success.
 
I am an advocate for student choice, and I strongly believe that academic opportunities and increased access will help to dismantle the educational barriers that our students face. Together we will co-create a rigorous and challenging academic environment that will prepare students for their post-secondary goals. This will be achieved through continuous collaboration with all stakeholders and by building community partnerships. Together we will achieve great things!

As I stated in my very first message to you, “It is my honor and privilege to serve Cabarrus County Schools’ students, families, and staff.” It continues to be an honor and privilege. You have welcomed me and made Cabarrus County and CCS feel like home. And for that, I say thank you. I also want to express my thanks and gratitude to our Board of Education; it is pleasure to work with a group of individuals who are committed to student success.
